Now, I’ve been going to press launches for 25 years, and all of them talk about the new features and how they’re better/faster/cheaper/ than the competition; this was the first time where much of the talk – at Microsoft’s Windows 2008 launch – centred on a feature that’s not yet been delivered. The Hyper V, its own take on virtualisation.
